Photographic Representations
Photos are of previous commissions and should be considered approximations only. Since each piece is created entirely from scratch, and since all woods vary in grain patterns and colors, showing an exact representation of pieces yet to be created is impossible. Butterfly bases/stands will all vary, however, all butterflies and sculptures will be generally as represented in intricacy of grain pattern, color, carving style and shape.

Commission Fulfillment
Commissions are usually completed within two to six weeks, depending upon the length of the waiting list at the time the order is placed. Because the butterflies are so delicate, packing and shipping is extraordinarily important, as is removal of the piece once it arrives. Please be extremely careful when removing butterflies from their shipping containers.

Ordering
To commission a piece, simply click on the button below the description and price of the desired item and follow the directions through the ordering process. Orders are usually processed within 24 hours and an estimate of delivery time will be sent via e-mail shortly thereafter. If there are any problems with the order or the credit card / PayPal charge, you will be notified promptly.

Care In Shipping & Handling
Because of their delicacy, butterflies are sometimes damaged during shipping. In such cases, Mr. LeBeaux requests that the damaged piece be returned to him for repair and/or replacement at no charge. Claims made against shipping carriers are far too complex and time consuming for such delicate artwork.

Order Security
Ordering and payment are handled by MetroDirect Communications, whose ordering system provides state-of-the-art security, including Secure Socket Layer encryption for sensitive credit card information. The shopping cart service is provided by Americart and is secured by VeriSign, the number one credit card security service on the Web.

Numbering & Signing
Each piece carries an inlaid label showing the series, the number, the date of creation, and the personal signature or initials of R. LeBeaux. Butterflies and smaller pieces have round labels, while larger items have oval labels. The labels are permanently sealed into the bottom or back of the piece with epoxy.

Certificates
Each snowflake and Chalice is accompanied by a certificate showing the series, the number, the date of creation, and displaying a depiction and identification of the woods used.

Satisfaction
Mr. LeBeaux will refund 50% of the purchase price if the purchaser is not completely satisfied, providing the piece(s) are returned in pristine condition, with insured shipping, at the customer’s expense.
